AYUMI SAWA
Born in Tokyo. After working in film acquisition at the International Department of a film distribution company, Sawa established MUD MUSH PRODUCTIONS in 2010. The following year, Sawa moved to Europe and began a long-term collaboration with Piotrowski (ONKALO). With a focus on music, film, and design production, Sawa has also built an international career as a sound designer, creating works for films, commercials, audio-visual performances across Europe. Beyond creative production, Sawa has curated exhibitions, designed products, and managed film acquisitions at international festivals. Sawa also works to promote Japanese films abroad and takes part in major markets such as Cannes and Berlin, building bridges for international co-productions.
